  • PUBLICATION OF SELECTION RESULTS: 17 September 2024. 

  • REGISTRATION DEADLINE: by 3 October 2024 on the Online Student Registry - University of Milan-Bicocca. 

  • In order to enroll, the admitted candidates must follow these steps within the due date: register in the Segreterie on line, log in and fill in the on line enrolment form (from the right drop down menu,
    select home>enrollment>enrollment to free access courses>Practical education course); 

  • During the  enrollment procedure, the upload of a copy of an identity document and a passport photo (jpeg or bitmap format) will be required; it will also be required to declare the possession of a master's degree or a qualification of the same level obtained abroad.

  • Candidates who have not completed the enrolment by the deadline will lose the right to enrol.

• REQUIREMENTS AND APPLICATION

  REQUIREMENTS

  Candidates for the Training Courses must hold a Master’s Degree or an equivalent degree obtained abroad. Candidates must demonstrate professional experience as managers, operators or researchers in research performing organizations or service providing organizations. 
   

  SELECTION CRITERIA

  The selection for admission to the Courses will be made on the basis of the evaluation of: 

  ● a curriculum vitae and details of studies; 

  ● motivation letter 

  ● a self-certification document of the academic degree (non-EU citizens must enclose copy of the academic degree to the application form)

• APPLICATION

  • The application deadline for the Training Courses is 9th September, h.12.00 (UTC+2) 2024. 

  • To apply, candidates must access the website https://ritrainplus.eu/ and follow the relevant instructions.

• ATTENDANCE

  • The RItrainPlus management training programme includes seven continuous professional development courses.  

  • All courses will be delivered in a hybrid format (in-person and online) between October and November 2024. The in-person part of the training will take place late November 2024 in the format of an interactive two days workshop.

  • The participant can take up either the entire programme and move from one CPD course to the next, or take only one or few CPD course(s) that best suits his/her needs. Participants are invited to check the course syllabus of individual courses in "Other info" for detailed information.

• ADMISSION RANKING

  • Candidates will be admitted to each course in accordance with the order of their ranking which will be published on 17th September 2024 up to the limit of the number of places available. 

  • In the event of a tie, younger persons will be preferred. The admission ranking will be available on this website and on the project website https://ritrainplus.eu/.

  • ***TO BE NOTED*** the publication of the ranking on the site is the only communication tool used. No communication is sent to individual candidates.

• QUALIFICATIONS AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  Registration reserved for residents enrolled in the Anesthesia and Resuscitation SdS and the Gynecology and Obstetrics SdS of the University of Milan-Bicocca, with a reduced cost of €70 (total cost €140).

  From the Online Secretariats Personal Page: Menu> Secretariat> Enrollment > Web Enrollment > Enrollment in Courses when places are filled: from here you can choose the Training Course.
  At the end of the guided process, a PagoPA slip is generated for the amount of €70 to be paid by 7 March 2024.

• TEACHING PLAN

  TEACHINGS

  Theoretical lesson on cardiac arrest 
  Cardiac arrest epidemiology; BLSD diagnostic and therapeutic algorithm; defibrillator operation.
  Educational objectives: Learn to recognize cardiac arrest early and understand the importance of early treatment.

  BLSD exercise - Module 1
  Miniability (external cardiac massage, head hyperextension and mask ventilation, early defibrillation).
  Training objectives: Acquire skills on early identification of cardiac arrest, external cardiac massage, defibrillation.

  BLS-D exercise - Module 2
  Simulated cardiac arrest scenarios, including airway obstruction.
  Learning Objectives: Apply the BLSD sequence to simulated scenarios, including airway obstruction.

• COURSE ORGANIZATION

  1 hour of frontal lessons, 4 hours of group exercises. 
  The course will be held from 1.30 pm to 6.30 pm in building U8 of the Monza headquarters, via Cadore 48.
  VERIFICATION TESTS: Written exam with crosses + simulated evaluation scenario.
  CFU: The course does not issue University Educational Credits.
